Generation: JUSTICE hosted a Justice Summit this Sunday, 29 October, to help raise and spread awareness about the issue of student trafficking, especially as it relates to Indiana and the Lafayette area.

The event featured three main speakers involved locally in fighting human trafficking: state Representatives Sally Siegrist, and Wendy McNamara, along with Detective Dan Long of the Lafayette Police Department.

The speakers discussed how they have worked in the political, educational, and police fields to combat human trafficking. They also helped educate those in attendance about warning signs and how to recognize trafficking in the real world.
